The "WILD BILL" Show is a long running radio show which consists of a mixture of pop oldies, blues, country gold, rockabilly, and doo-wop sprinkled with artist interviews and artist promo I.Ds, plus an in house cast of crazy characters.
“The Wild Bill Show” has been heard on stations throughout Southern Ontario since the late 70s including 10 years at the fabulous nostalgia station FM108 in Burlington Ont Canada. The show was also syndicated to other stations in the province in the days of reel to reel tape and recorded in the FM108 studios live with albums, cassettes and 45s.. Bill had been a working live DJ at many venues during the 70s and enlarged his company Goodtyme Disc Jockey Service to ten DJs through the eighties and nineties serving weddings, stags, fundraisers and Bill's specialty 50s & 60s sock hops.
He also had a very successful acting career and has appeared in over 700 Canadian & US feature films, TV series and commercials. He eventually jumped to the other side of the camera and wrote, produced and directed four feature films including the International Superior Film Making Award winner ”Billyboy” which is now available on DVD.
On the Internet he has hosted a Sat & Sun night oldies show, and the morning show five days a week for a major National Internet station, plus syndicating "The Wild Bill Show".
"The Wild Bill Show" has in different forms been heard in Canada since 1969 on many commercial stations and is now available to a Worldwide Internet audience. It is a free wheeling off the cuff old 50s style rock and roll show designed to keep the fingers snapping and make you smile.
Think in terms of the great jocks like Wolfman Jack...Alan Freed...Dick Biondi...Arnie Ginsberg...George Oxford...Cousin Brucie, and you have some idea of how this show flies. It is available for syndication to any market in a variation of one to six hour packages, but is currently programmed as a 3 hour show primarily designed for a Sat & Sun evening slot.
